KENTARO SHIMOYAMA『The whole world is my warehouse.』

“This zine features photographs of drawings, artworks-in-progress, and the interiors of the artist’s, Kentaro Shimoyama, atelier. These accumulated photographs were taken to archive the state of the artist’s atelier as well as the birth of discovered ideas which resulted from the reconfiguration of objects’ positions and their possible connections. This zine was published in conjunction with the group exhibition, [ 3-men Curation 「Future of Art」], held at hikarie8, as a tabloid booklet.”

Born in Tokyo, 1990. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University with a Master’s in Fine Arts. Kentaro Shimoyama captures the natural world organically through paintings and drawings, thereby exploring the intersecting connections between space and time.
