This collection was produced in collaboration with artist DIEGO from art collective SIDE CORE, French artist QUENTIN CHAMBRY who recently exhibited at our gallery, and Kenichi Miyazawa from artist unit magma.
Diego and Quentin Chambry designed their T-shirts using the CALM&PUNK logo that was screen printed onto a pink body that was exclusively garment-dyed for this project.
Kenichi Miyazawa’s design features a four-color silkscreen of a stylized artist statement and a graphic print of TAKOCHU, a 3D art installation that was exhibited at the CALM&PUNK GALLERY pop-up at the EASTEAST_ art fair that was launched this year.⠀
Our lookbook was a collaboration between powerhouse creatives having been art directed by Erinam, photographed by Miyu Terasawa, styled by Hiromi Toki, and featuring Kato Seijun from the band MONO NO AWARE that has performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL as well as recently having produced the main theme song for a film.
Inspired by QUENTIN CHAMBRY’s design, our lookbook is laid out in an editorial style that brings to mind the aesthetics of the early 2000s.
