CALM & PUNK GALLERY is pleased to present “Ū Uo,” a solo exhibition by Muku Kobayashi. Kobayashi has long created kinetic works that repeat movements without clear purpose. This exhibition centers on a new series of “non-moving” works made from unidentified machines and devices collected from recycle shops and online auctions. Their internal structures are transferred into handmade containers with minimal alteration, marking the first time Kobayashi introduces the term “sculpture” into his practice.
