limited edition capsule collection

In celebration of GASBOOK's 25th anniversary campaign "ATYPICAL XXV", a limited edition capsule collection with an Los Angeles-based design apparel brand "b.Eautiful" that focuses on Japanese art culture is now available.

For this collaboration, we have invited Masako Hirano, a visual artist who works both within Japan and abroad, to create a new work of art for this project.
T-shirts, longsleeve tops, and hoodies featuring artwork created especially for this project are available for purchase.

GASBOOK, by Gas As Interface, began in 1996 as a project with aims to gather and proliferate new art and design ideas from around the world. Originally created in DVD format, the GASBOOK series took on various iterations before its current book form of which, to date, 36 issues have been published featuring creatives like Mike Mills, Jun Takahashi, Madsaki, Jonathan Zawada, and Yoshirotten.
Even now, we continue to be a timeless reference for various art fields and will continue to serve as a platform to introduce artists from around the world who have been active as pioneers.

ATYPICAL XXV includes the launch of by and by GASBOOK, a website introducing creators associated with the company (coming soon!), and the opening of GASBON METABOLISM, a multipurpose facility with a site area of over 1,000 square meters in Hokuto, Yamanashi, JAPAN.

b.Eautiful is a project which promotes and provides access to a wide range of phenomena from Japan. It shines light on artists, designers, architects, musicians, photographers, film makers, and other entities from Japan that are under-appreciated on a global scale.
