This is a collection of works by Tomato, a London-based design collective. The collection features the latest self-art, graphics, sketches, and other works not seen anywhere else by what can be called the world's most notable design team of the 20th and 21st century.
■ Tomato
A design collective comprising artists, musicians and designers, which was founded in London in 1991. The group's members include typographer John Warwicker, the first foreigner to become a member of the Tokyo Type Directors Club; Simon Taylor, who is responsible for the Work Not Work fashion brand; and Joel Baumann, who has worked on many commercial advertisements and currently teaches at the Kassel College of Art and Design in the field of new media. Iconic works include artwork design for Danny Boyle's British film, Trainspotting. The electric duo, Underworld are also founding members of the collective. In 2016, the project, THE TOMATO PROJECT 25TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION "O" was held at Shibuya Parco to celebrate the studio’s 25th anniversary.
