中屋辰平は「本来意図していないエラーが新しい価値や楽しさを産む」というコンセプトのもと、毎年「エラー」をテーマに作品制作をしています。 今作はネットのストリートビューのサービス内で、AIの手によってかけられたプライバシー処理のモザイクが、間違って人間の顔以外にかけられている画像だけを集めて一冊の本にしたものです。

Shinpei Nakaya believes that there is value and fun that comes from unintentional error. Under that concept, each year he produces work on the theme of "error". This book is a collection of censored images based on the AI image processing taken from the Google street view service. Beyond the censoring of the human faces, there are many inanimate objects that end up being censored.

 

■Shinpei Nakaya 中屋辰平

1988年東京都足立区生まれ。
武蔵野美術大学視覚伝達デザイン学科卒業後、
ハンサム株式会社(デザイン事務所)を経て独立。
紙やWEBなど媒体問わずビジュアル制作の
企画・デザインに携わる。
