A zine co-created by CAROLIN LÖBBERT and art director, William Takashi-Ahrend. Focusing on Tokyo lifestyle and must-see tourist attractions of the city and its various locations, this zine introduces Japanese expressions derived from English terms through funny, cute romaji fonts. This Tokyo-loving zine is available in limited quantities.
■CAROLIN LÖBBERT
Born in Germany. An artist who has been practicing her work all over the world.
Her activities based in Japan have involved project collaborations such as shop window design for Isetan Mitsukoshi’s Mother’s Day campaign, Hikaru Utada, Google, Vogue, and Audi.
Additionally, she has engaged in other creative pursuits such as holding a solo exhibition in CALM & PUNK GALLERY (Tokyo). Emphasizing the importance of communication, she is deeply inspired by nature and sustainability and employs the use of bold, fresh colors to create dynamic compositions. Her distinct color palette and world-view radiate an allure that can capture any viewer at first sight.
