This issue, on 248 pages, covers Yoshida Uni’ s 12-year activities from 2007 to the present.
As one of Japan's most active art directors, she has worked on Laforet Harajuku and LUMINE campaign`s visuals, stage performances of Hideki Noda and visuals for Naomi Watanabe. She has created a CD / DVD jackets for artists like Gen Hoshino, or Chara. She is constantly receiving offers from companies and brands such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO, KIRIN, and LOWRYS FARM. In about two weeks from opening, more than 30,000 visitors attended her second solo exhibition “Dinalog” held in Laforet Museum Harajuku in November 2019. 3000 copies of her second book “YUNI YOSHIDA WORKS 2007-2019” had been released at the same time as the exhibition and were sold out three days before the end of it. Additionally, orders for about 1500 (additional) copies were accepted by the final day.
Her work is rich in creativity, and her unique perspective leaves a strong impact on viewers. While all 70 works are astonishing as if they were completely synthesized, the details behind them are diligently calculated and the ways to create unique aesthetics are carefully selected.
